A process for treating cancers originating in peritoneal cavity comprises the prior laparotomy, the catheterization of the bleeding vessel under the visual control. The bolus administration of the insoluble emboli is administered through the catheter until the complete blockade of the bleeding artery at the level of the arterioles and capillaries. The administration of emboli is combined with the intra-arterial chemotherapy. In addition, the peritoneum is treated intraoperatively with the chemotherapeutic agent.
