A device for the surgical treatment of the injuries of the distal tibiofibular syndesmosis contains the fixator designed as the malleolar screw inserted through tibia and fibula at the site 2-3 cm above the syndesmosis area. The device is designed as a barrel installed in the prepared place in the fibula along the axis of the lag malleolar screw. The barrel is designed with the expanded edges outside and the thread inside. The spherical bottom of the barrel is congruent with the head of the malleolar screw inserted into the bottom opening.
