METHOD FOR INCREASING ANTIARRHYTHMIC EFFICACY OF AMIODARON IN TREATING REFRACTORY VENTRICULAR EXTRASYSTOLES IN PATIENTS WITH ISCHEMIC HEART DISEASE WITH CONCOMITANT DEPRESSIVE DISORDERS

A method for increasing antiarrhythmic efficacy of Amiodaron in treating the refractory ventricular extrasystoles in the patients with the ischemic heart disease with concomitant depressive disorders consists in prescribing Escitalopram as antidepressant at a daily dose of 10 mg for at least 4 weeks in the cases when the efficacy of Amiodaron at a daily dose of 600 mg followed by 400 mg 5 times a week is not sufficient.
