METHOD OF CRUSHING AGGLOMERATE IN SINGLE-ROLL TOOTHED CRUSHER

The invention relates to metallurgical industry. A method of crushing the agglomerate in single-roll toothed crusher includes extrusion through the grates with subsequent application of additional cleaving efforts, which are applied along the axis of symmetry of clearance between the grates, in this case the maximum coarseness of finished product is determined on the basis of distance between the plane of grate and sharp end of crushing supports. The invention provides for increase of uniformity of the granulometric composition of crushed agglomerate and approaching of its fractional composition to optimum composition from the point of view of blast-furnace smelting.
