Aqueous cleaning composition comprises at least an acid (0.1 wt.%) containing a sulfur atom; water and at least a moistening agent, where the pK avalue of the acid is less than 2. Independent claims are included for: (1) a method for packing or sealing comprising (i) applying the aqueous cleaning composition on a first substrate (S1), (ii) applying adhesive or sealing material on the aerated aqueous cleaning composition, which is on the first substrate and (iii) contacting the adhesive or sealing material with a second substrate (S2), or repeating the steps (i), applying the adhesive or sealing materials on the surface of (S2) and contacting the adhesive or sealing material with aerated aqueous cleaning composition, which is on the substrate (S1), or aerating the aqueous cleaning composition and applying the adhesive and sealing material between the surface of the substrates (S1) and (S2); and (2) packed or sealed article obtained by the above process.
