The exchangeable front covering for cupboard apertures, wardrobe doors, box or drawer front pieces and similar carpentry products comprises a sheet of semi-stiff but bendable material, e.g. a plastic sheet with a thickness of 0.3 mm. It has such properties that when it has been bent into a fold it remains in that state without making any effort to return to its flat state. The sheet is cut to a dimension on the front surface of the aperture (breadth and height), side surfaces and a folding extent on the rear side of the aperture. The corners on the sheet are removed to a suitable extent and at the same time an incision is stamped in each corner, which leaves a strip coinciding with the sheet to cover the width of the side surfaces. If so required, an area of the sheet is suitably removed to provide locations for hinges. The cut sheet is provided with bending lines along which it can be folded to conform to the covering of the aperture. To fix the front covering on the aperture, suitable strips of doubly adhesive tape are used, which are permanently fixed to the sheet, but releasably so to the aperture.
