The method involves adjusting temperature and mass flow of process gases e.g. anode and cathode gas, independent from each other, and feeding the gases into a test stand of cell components e.g. reformer, of a fuel cell (2). The gases with different temperature levels are mixed using gas injectors (3a-3e, 4a-4c). A partial flow of the gases at a temperature i.e. 25 degree Celsius, within a range of a room temperature, is supplied to the injectors. Another partial flow of the gases at a high temperature within a range between 100 and 950 degree Celsius is supplied to the injectors. An independent claim is also included for a device for supplying a process gas.
