A springy hinge tape-stirrup comprises a stainless steel stirrup (1) joined via a movable retainer (2) with a plastics tape (3). According to the foot shape and/or type of injury, by selecting the toe position on the stirrup (1) a basic positioning results, in which the curved shape of the stirrup (1) supports the transverse bulge of the end of the foot. An independent claim is included for a device for positioning a springy hinge for bandaged foot.
