The device has a surface sensor (1) comprising a set of lines (L1-L3), where each line possesses a same preset spectral sensitivity and/or black-white sensitivity and same bright-dark sensitivity over the length and/or pixels of the lines with respect to recorded image parameter or characteristics. Two of the lines possess different spectral sensitivities and/or bright-dark sensitivities. An accumulator (A1) synchronously accumulates the information read from all the lines with same sensitivity except the information provided at the line located at the beginning of the sensor. An independent claim is also included for a method for time delay and integration (TDI) image acquisition of object, which is moved relative to a time delay and integration image acquisition device.
