Process for treating wastewater fluorides by obtaining synthetic calcium fluoride from fluoridated wastewater is based on precipitation of calcium fluoride into a fluidized bed reactor using calcium hydroxide as the reagent without pH adjustment.; Precipitation occurs on the surface of calcium carbonate particles contained in a reactor in which fluidized remain.; The use of calcium carbonate of fine particle size as seed material according to this method allows obtaining a precipitated product characterized by high richness calcium fluoride. The calcium fluoride obtained has optimum features suitable for reuse as raw material in the manufacture of hydrofluoric acid due to its low moisture content and silica.
