The connection block includes a port (12) for an input conductor, and a port (13) for an output conductor. A single terminal (4) clamps the ends or points of the input and output conductors, such that the opposing offset ports are sunk into the terminal. The fixing mechanism (18) fixes the terminal point of the input conductor in the port (12). A hole (16) has a larger cross-section that the cross-section of the terminal point to be deformed. The outer shape of the terminal point is determined by the hole, when the point is pushed manually into the hole. An independent claim is included for hand tool for deforming the terminal points of electrical cables.
