The straightening unit has lines of rollers with two grooves, where both lines are parallel to pass the metal rods for straightening. The movement of the rollers is achieved through cylindrical bodies that are perpendicular to the lines with central parts in an elastomer material that is flexible and contractile and is fixed by one end. The flanges are also provided with pistons to move the rollers, when the central block of the cylindrical bodies are swollen with compressed air that reduces the distance between their ends.
