The wheelchair has lateral armrests (6) that are rested on a frame (1), and are moved in front-back direction over guides (7) respectively. A set of pinions (10) transmit longitudinal direction movement of the guides, to a transverse axle (11), and a chain (16) transmits the movement to other set of pinions that are mounted over axle of rear wheels (4). The alternate front and back direction movement of the armrests determines the turning movement of the rear wheels respectively.
