Device (1) for preparing an infusion of an aromatic plant substance by infusion with a cartridge (4) containing said aromatic plant substance, said device (1) comprising a kettle (2) for the production of boiling water, a funnel (3 ) to accommodate said cartridge through which said boiling water flows for the preparation of said infusion, and a container (5) of said infusion fitted with said kettle (2) by interposing said funnel (3), said device having some first hydraulic sealing means (6) with said funnel (3) and, separated from said first hydraulic sealing means (6), second hydraulic sealing means (7) with said cartridge (4) that can be placed perimetrically with respect to the element filter located in the upper part (8) of said cartridge (4), characterized in that said first (6) and second (7) hydraulic sealing means are joined in a single body po by an elastic joint (12).
