Procedure for the analysis of samples in relation to acute cardiovascular diseases, the procedure comprising the following steps: (a) making available a biological sample to be examined from a subject; (b) determine the concentration of the PlGF marker in the sample, (c) if necessary, determine the concentration of at least one other marker selected from soluble CD40 ligand (sCD40L), PAPP-A, troponin T (TnT), MPO, NT -proBNP, VEGF, BNP and other inflammatory markers, and (d) compare the result (s) obtained for the sample to be examined with reference values and / or reference sample values.
