SPRAY APPLIED BUILDING WRAP COATING MATERIAL, SPRAY APPLIED BUILDING WRAP, AND BUILDING CONSTRUCTION ASSEMBLY

A spray applied building construction coating material forms a waterproofing,watervapor permeable, air barrier, building wrap coating layer between an exteriorfacing surface of abuilding sheathing layer and an interior facing surface of an exteriorbuilding cladding layer. Abuilding construction assembly is formed by spray coating the exterior surfaceof the sheathinglayer with the coating material or by spray coating gaps in the sheathinglayer with the coatingmaterial and spray coating the exterior surface of the sheathing layer andpreviously coatedgaps in the sheathing layer with a second coat of the coating material andapplying an exteriorcladding layer over the coating layer(s). For most applications, the coatingmaterial isformulated or includes additives whereby it solidifies on the sheathing toform a coating layerthat has an exterior facing, textured surface. This exterior facing, texturedsurface providespassages between the exterior facing surface of the coating layer and aninterior facing surfaceof the exterior cladding layer for draining water from between and permittingair flow betweenthe exterior facing surface of the coating layer and the interior facingsurface of the exteriorcladding layer.
