A digital signage content management system is provided that uses existinginterfaces such asweb interfaces and turns existing commercially available graphics programssuch as web basedtools or locally run programs such as Microsoft PowerPoint® into a digitalsignage platform tofacilitate developing and managing digital signage applications through thecreation of smartobjects and intelligent templates that are easy to create and easy to modifyto suit differentapplications. This enables digital signage content to be professionallycreated without requiringcustom programming for each and every stream of new and/or changing content.The smartobjects and intelligent templates can also be used to provide content withchanging elements inreal-time.
