Apparatus for destruction of articles and any information associatedtherewith.Embodiments include an article-destruction chamber and a rotating head forrepeatedstriking of articles and article fragments in the chamber. The head includes abodyportion and a shaft. The body portion has plural striking elements extendingradiallyoutward therefrom. Each striking element has a forward-facing radial strikingsurfacewith an area. High-speed rotation of the head causes the striking surfaces toviolentlycontact and destroy articles and article fragments in the chamber and torender anyassociated information unusable.
