Aerial cableway system with at least one load-bearing and conveying cable moving between a valley station and a mountain station

The system includes a valley station and a mountain station, each having an entry region and an exit region. Each region is divided into two sectors (1,2) which are disposed to follow each other in the transport direction of the cabins (31) and chairs (32). The first sector (1) is configured for users of the cabins while the second sector (2) is configured for users of the chairs. A coupling device and a decoupling device are provided for connecting and disconnecting the respective cabins and chairs to and from a load-bearing and conveying cable (3) in the valley and mountain stations. The cabins and chairs move along the guide rails (4) through the stations via the load-bearing and conveying cable.
