COSMETIC USE OF A HYDROXYALKYLUREA AS AN AGENT FOR TREATING DESQUAMATIVE CONDITIONS OF THE SCALP; COSMETIC TREATMENT COMPOSITIONS AND PROCESSES

The present invention relates to the use of a cosmetic composition comprising, in a physiologically acceptable medium, at least one hydroxyalkylurea corresponding to the general Formula (I): in which RSUBa/SUB, RSUBb/SUB, RSUBc/SUB and RSUBd/SUB each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a CSUB1/SUB-CSUB4/SUB alkyl group or a CSUB2/SUB-CSUB6 /SUBhydroxyalkyl group possibly containing from 1 to 5 hydroxyl groups, at least one of the radicals RSUBa/SUB-RSUBd /SUBrepresenting a hydroxyalkyl group, and also the salts, solvates and isomers thereof, as an agent for treating desquamative conditions of the scalp and more particularly dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis, and as an agent for combating desquamative conditions of the scalp. The present invention also relates to the use in the manufacture of a pharmaceutical composition of at least one hydroxyalkylurea of particular formula (I), for treating desquamative conditions of the scalp, in particular dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis. The invention also relates to a cosmetic process for treating the scalp, for treating desquamative conditions of the scalp, in particular dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis, which consists in applying to the hair and/or the scalp a cosmetic composition comprising, in a physiologically acceptable medium, at least one hydroxyalkylurea of particular formula.
