A burner for producing the combustion of a substance believed to be difficult to burn comprising: - a burner body (100) defining a combustion chamber (121), which has an evacuation (120) of the residue of said combustion; - at least one inflow (101) of said substance in said burner body; - at least one adduction pipe for an oxidant (107) leading into said combustion chamber via an inlet (108); - an electric ignition means (109) for initiating the combustion; - a vessel for cracking (122) the substance defined within the burner body, said vessel being positioned opposite the inflow of the substance; - a heat exchanger (102) provided with a means for heating (103) the substance, at least one substance inlet port and at least one outlet port forming said inflow of the substance, said heating means being suitable for heating the substance until the cracking thereof.
