In a document producing apparatus while a client requests a WWW server to transmit a desirable document such as a customized home page, this WWW server produces such a desirable customized home page and then transmits this home page via the Internet to the client. The document producing apparatus is comprised of: structural component storage means for storing thereinto plural structural components of plural documents in correspondence with a plurality of positional information; request receiving means for receiving a request issued from a client; positional information acquiring means for acquiring positional information of the client which issues the request received by the request receiving means; structural component extracting means for extracting a structural component of a document in correspondence with the positional information acquired by the positional information acquiring means from the structural component storage means; document producing means for producing a document to be transmitted based upon the structural component of the document extracted by the structural component extracting means; and document transmitting mens for transmitting the document produced by the document producing means via a communication line to the client which issues the request.
