A method and system for interfacing to an electronic device (102) is disclosed. A service provider (108) may receive a request from the electronic device (102), which may be, for example, the mobile terminal (102), to determine whether any specified mobile terminals (104,106) may be within a specified range of the mobile terminal (102). The range may be a default value, and/or the range may be specified by a user of the mobile terminal (102) and/or the service provider (108). The service provider (108) may communicate to the mobile terminal (102) whether any of the specified mobile terminals may be within the specified range. If so, the service provider (108) may communicate to the mobile terminal (102) information regarding the location of the specified mobile terminals within range. The service provider (108) may also communicate a map on which the specified mobile terminals within range and the mobile terminal (102) may be placed.
