A manufacture method for a wire cable insulated by an UV crosslinked polyolefin comprises the following steps: the base materials and the additional materials for the polyolefin are mixed and kneaded to form granules, immediately after coating an internal shield layer and an insulating layer on a conductive core by melt common extrusion, in an UV irradiation crosslink equipment that apply an electrodeless lamp excitated by microwaves and whose UV intensity is up to 1800 mW/cm2 as the light source, the insulating layer is UV crosslinked by UV irradiation in an UV irradiation chamber that is formed in a module unit manner, then, a outer shield layer is coated on the UV crosslinked insulating layer by extrusion, and the resultant cable is subsequently processed. An UV irradiation crosslink equipment can be used for this method. By applying this method and the equipment for it, the UV crosslink rate is improved, and not only a 10-66kV middle or high voltage crosslinked polyolefin insulated cable that more than 3mm in thickness but also a low voltage crosslinked polyolefin insulated cable that in different color is made.
