A communication terminal apparatus wherein a higher transmission speed during a content distribution is achieved to allow a large amount of contents to be distributed within a short time in which they pass a gate. In this apparatus, a noncontact communication part (111) transmits a user ID, a content number and ticket information and receives a use permission key. A wireless communication part (113), which is activated when the noncontact communication part (111) receives a communication area signal, receives contents at a transmission speed that is higher than a transmission speed at which the noncontact communication part (111) receives the use permission key. A use permission key decoding part (115) uses the user ID to decode the use permission key, thereby generating a decoding key. A content decoding part (116) uses the decoding key to decode a content.
