The present invention relates to methods of treating a cancer associated with aberrant EGFR-activity comprising administering, to a subject in need of such treatment, an effective amount of a combination of an EGFR inhibitor and a MD A-7 molecule. The combined use of these agents allows effective therapy of cancers that may be relatively resistant to either agent alone.
