METHOD OF REALIZING DUAL HOMING, SYSTEM AND SOFTSWITCH EQUIPMENT

A method of realizing dual homing is disclosed. When the softswitch equipment with the virtual softswitch unit obtains that the other softswitch equipment corresponding to the virtual softswitch unit needs inverting, it takes over total or partial transactions of the softswitch equipment needing inverting, using the transaction data stored in the virtual softswitch unit corresponding to the softswitch equipment needing inverting. A system of realizing dual homing and equipment are also disclosed. Applying the method, system and equipment, it can make the softswitch equipment with the virtual softswitch unit executing the transaction data interaction with the total or partial media gateway subordinating the other softswitch equipment, which takes full advantage of the network resource and saves the network cost.
