A resin composition having improved flame retardancy which is for producing a resin product having excellent flame retardancy. Also provided is an electronic part (e.g., antenna part) which is sufficiently inhibited from changing in dielectric properties with changing environment, has isotropic dielectric properties, and has excellent flame retardancy. The resin composition improved in flame retardancy is used for producing the electronic part. Furthermore provided is a method of improving the flame retardancy of a resin product, especially an electronic part. The resin composition, which has improved flame retardancy, is characterized by comprising PBT having a weight-average molecular weight of 55,000 or lower, a bromine-compound flame retardant, and an antimony-compound flame retardant aid. The electronic part, especially antenna part, is made of the resin composition. The method of flame retardancy improvement is for improving the flame retardancy of a resin product comprising PBT, a bromine-compound flame retardant, and an antimony-compound flame retardant aid, and is characterized by regulating the weight-average molecular weight of the PBT to 55,000 or lower.
