The probe has a flat probe head (4) arranged at a free end of a lance with perforation holes (11), where two coils are arranged in the head. The flat side of the head has a convex curvature and the opposite side of the head has a concave curvature. The radius of curvature of the head corresponds to the inner radius of a bushing of a reactor pressure vessel cover. A convex bent spring unit is arranged at the flat side of the head.
