A novel fuse (100, 200) has at least one transponder (119, 120) which is designed to transmit a signal readable via radio. The fuse (100, 200) is designed to act on the transponder (119, 120) in such a way that when the fuse is tripped, said transponder can no longer send a signal readable via radio or a modified signal readable via radio. The fuse can be monitored with an analysis device (300) which is designed to detect the tripping of at least one fuse (100, 200) from the loss of or modification of the signal of the transponder (119, 120) of the fuse (100, 200), which is readable via radio, and optionally also to signal information to the user and/or to make data from the tripped fuse (100, 200) available to the user.
