Disclosed is a solar cell module (100) comprising a crystalline silicon solar cell (20), a resin layer (42) and a cover glass (30). The cover glass (30) substantially has a composition (expressed by mass%) satisfying the following requirements: 65≤SiO2≤80, 0≤Al2O3≤5, 0≤Li2O≤5, 5≤Na2O≤18, 0≤K2O≤10, 10≤(Li2O+Na2O+K2O)≤20, 0≤MgO≤10, 5CaO≤15, 0≤(SrO+ZnO)≤5, 5(MgO+CaO+SrO)≤15, 0≤ZrO2≤5, 0.05≤SO3≤0.5, 0≤(antimony oxide)≤1, 0.001≤(the entire iron oxide content (in termsof Fe2O3))≤0.04, and 0.075≤(the entire titanium oxide content (in terms of TiO2))≤1. The main surface (31) of the cover glass (30) is roughened and contacts with the resin layer (42). The cover glass (30) is so designed as to be increased in transmission rate of a beam having such a wavelength that enables to produce a high incident photon-to-current conversion efficiency in a solar cell when being irradiated with a light in an ultraviolet ray wavelength range.
