In order to construct rollers for high-pressure roller presses for the pressure crushing of granulate goods such that a decrease in grinding performance at the edge areas of the rollers does not occur, or occurs only minimally, and such that the original contour of the roller surfaces is preserved for the maximum period of operation, a roller set is proposed according to the invention, the rollers of which are separated by the nip, wherein one cylindrical roller narrows conically in diameter in the edge area (11a, 11b) toward the front-side edge, while the opposing other cylindrical roller widens in diameter in the edge area (10a, 10b), separated by the nip (12) of the first-mentioned roller, toward the front-side edge.
