METHOD AND BASE STATION FOR ACTIVATING MULTICASTING BROADCAST MULTIMEDIA SERVICE OF TARGET COMMUNITY

A method and a base station for activating the multicasting broadcast multimedia service of the target community,said method including: after the source base station acquiring the multicasting broadcast multimedia service information of the adjacent base stations,and selecting the target base station, judging whether the multicasting broadcast multimedia service associated with the switching user in the target community according to the multicasting broadcast multimedia service information of the target base station,if no,sending the multicasting broadcast multimedia service message associated with the switching user to the target base station;after the target base station receiving the multicasting broadcast multimedia service message,activating the multicasting broadcast multimedia service corresponding to the target community. The present invention can activate the multicasting broadcast multimedia service of the target community while switching the user who receiving the multicasting broadcast multimedia service,assure the continuity of the user mono-broadcast service,reduce the delay for activating the multicasting broadcast multimedia service by the target community,cause the multicasting broadcast multimedia service to acquire the good continuity.
