A guide route to the destination set by the user is determined and a route guide along the guide route is provided. One or more guide points are set on the guide route. A guide point display image is displayed on a display section during the route guide. Here, the guide point display image is an image in which the current position of a moving object and the next guide point on the guide route are displayed on one screen. Furthermore, the guide point display image shows a guide point directional line which is a line connecting the current position of the moving object and the next guide point. Viewing the guide point display image allows the user to easily know the distance between the current position and the next guide point, position relations, the direction of the next guide point, or the like.
