AN INTERNET FLOW CONTROL METHOD BASED ON THE TOKEN

An internet flow control method based on the token, in the field of flow control technique of the packet switching network, comprises: the user terminal sets the token level of the data packet to be transmitted according to the network congestion condition; network access router controls the token rate of the user terminal's flowing into the network; the network middle router has a physical congestion controller in the output interface; the physical congestion controller adjusts the physical congestion index by self-adaptation according to the bandwidth resource congestion degree, and loses randomly the data packet which token level is less than the physical congestion index according to the computed fair lose-packet probability; the output interface of the inter-domain interconnection router not only has a physical congestion controller but also has a virtual congestion controller; the virtual congestion controller adjusts the virtual congestion index by self-adaptation according to the token resource congestion degree and decreases the token level of all output data packets. The present invention can distribute the bandwidth resource fairly and decrease the lose-packet number of the network inside.
