AN ATOMIZING DEVICE FOR GAS-LIQUID JETS IMPINGEMENT AND A WET FUME DESULFURIZING TOWER USING THE ATOMIZING DEVICE

An atomizing device for gas-liquid jets impingement and a wet fume desulfurizing tower using the atomizing device are provided. The atomizing device comprises a gas ejecting tube, a gas line, a gas-pressurizing device, a liquid ejecting tube, a liquid line, and a liquid pressurizing device. The gas ejecting tube and the liquid tube are provided separately so that their respective axes intersect at a location outside their ejecting outlets with the ejecting outlets opposite with each other. The wet fume desulfurizing tower comprises a housing, an atomizing device and a demisting device. The interior of the housing is divided into a liquid storage chamber, a desulfurizing chamber and a demisting chamber in the order from the bottom up. The liquid storage chamber has an outlet, the desulfurizing chamber has a fume inlet at its bottom, the demisting device is provided inside the demisting chamber, a fume outlet is provided on the top of the housing, the gas ejecting tube and the liquid ejecting tube are provided in the desulfurizing chamber, and the gas pressurizing device and the liquid pressurizing device are provided outside the housing. The atomizing device has advantages of simple structure, less wear, better atomizing efficiency and long service life, and the wet fume desulfurizing tower has advantages of high desulfurizing efficiency and long service life.
