Disclosed are a method for controlling the elution of a drug from a stent and a drug-eluting stent capable of reducing the restenosis rate after therapy. A coating composition for a drug-eluting stent comprising an endothelin receptor antagonist and a copolymer of 2-methacrylcyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine and n-butyl methacrylate. The elution of the endothelin receptor antagonist from the coating composition can be controlled by varying the ratio of 2-methacryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine to n-butyl methacrylate in the copolymer.
