Device for separating solid food from a liquid preparation for simultaneous consumption

The device has a truncated cone shaped wide-mouthed container (2) receiving solid food and liquid preparation. A wide-mouthed basin shaped receptacle (3) is in communication with container's evacuation path. The receptacle is subdivided into two open compartments at its upper part. One compartment capped by the container forms a sample drain tank (10) for the preparation with a maximum filling level (MAX). Another compartment forms a sauce-boat (11) remaining accessible when the container caps the tank. The tank and the sauce-boat are communicated via a passage (14) located above the level. An independent claim is also included for a method for utilizing a solid food separating device.
