The invention relates to autotransformers which are used, for example, to convert alternating electric power (AC) into direct power (DC). More specifically, the invention relates to autotransformers which are intended to be connected to a three-phase voltage supply having a given amplitude, which supplies three first output voltages (C1, C2, C3) having identical amplitudes and six other output voltages (A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, B3) which have the same amplitude as the first three output voltages and which are divided into pairs which are symmetrically phase-shifted by 20° in relation to the first three output voltages. According to the invention, the output voltages have stronger or weaker amplitudes than the amplitude of the three-phase supply.
