POWER NETWORK USING STANDARD CELL AND POWER GATING CELL, AND SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE USING A POWER NETWORK

A power network using a standard cell and a power gating cell and a semiconductor device using the same are provided to design easily a header type or a footer type power gating cell having various sizes. A standard cell(31) includes an operation circuit to perform according to a virtual supply voltage received through a virtual voltage rail and a first supply voltage received through a first voltage rail. A power gating cell(32) is formed to disconnect or connect electrically a second voltage rail for receiving a second supply voltage and the virtual voltage rail from or to each other according to a control signal. The virtual voltage rail uses a first metal layer. The first voltage rail uses the first metal layer. The second voltage rail uses a third metal layer. The second voltage rail is arranged on the power gating cell.
