POLYMORPHIC MINISATELLITE OF MUC2 GENE AND DNA TYPING KITS AND DIAGNOSIS KITS FOR DETECTING GASTRIC CANCER USING THE SAME

A polymorphic minisatellite of MUC2(secretory human colonic mucin) gene is provided to carry out confirmation of real child, blood-relationship confirmation or legal medicine judgment through DNA typing, and diagnose susceptibility against gastric cancer. A MUC2-MS7(MUC2-minisatellite 7) gene for predicting and diagnosing gastric cancer is represented by the nucleotide sequence consisting of from 32674th to 32953rd nucleotides of MUC2 gene(GenBank No. NC_000011). A primer set for detecting the MUC2-MS7(MUC2-minisatellite 7) gene has the nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NOs:13 and 14. A DNA typing kit for detecting the MUC2-MS7(MUC2-minisatellite 7) gene comprises the primer set. A diagnostic kit of gastric cancer comprises the primer set, DNA polymerase and dNTPs(dGTP, dCTP, dATP and dTTP).
