OPTICAL MARK RECOGNITION METHOD BY IMAGE PROCESS AND OPTICAL MARK RECOGNITION CARD

A method for reading an optical mark recognition card through image processing and an optical mark recognition card for the method are provided to correct an image of a scanned recognition card and read the image so as to prevent generation of a scan error and a reading error caused by a marking error. Information on the position, interval, width and length of timing marks(110), the interval between a starting point(122) and an end point(124) indicated at both ends of a scan direction, and a difference value used to determine a minimum value and a maximum value for judging correct answers are previously set and recorded. Scanned image data is corrected on the basis of timing mark information previously set and recorded in the scanned image data and the interval between a starting point and an end point of the scanned image data, and it is determined whether paper double feeding occurs. The image data is read and stored, marking is performed according to the information, the interval and the difference value, and then the marking result is recorded.
