A CURRENT TRANSFORMER WHICH HAVE WIDE RATIO ERRORS AND CORRECTION METHOD OF THE CURRENT TRANSFORMER RATIO ERROR COMPARATOR

A current transformer having a ratio error of a wide range and a correction method of a ratio error measuring device using the same are provided to estimate the linearity of the ratio error measuring device in industries by using the movable current transformer having the ratio error of the wide range. A current transformer having a ratio error of a wide range includes a reference current transformer(40), and a current transformer(50). The current transformer is installed on a ratio error measuring device to measure and compare a second current with the reference current transformer. The current transformer, which is used as an object to be measured, receives a current having the same amplitude with the reference current transformer in a first side. The first side of the current transformer has one winding number. The second side of the current transformer has selectively and variably one of the winding numbers of 1000, 941, 889, 842, 816, 808, 804, 802, 801, 800, 799, 798, 796, 792, 784, 776, 762, 727, 695, 727, 695, and 667. A current of the first side of the current transformer is 4000A. A current of the second side of the current transformer is 5A. A regular transforming ratio of the first side and the second side is 800.
