A press type jig device for local heat treatment is provided to minimize thermal deformation in the flange part to not more than ±1 mm by solidly fixing the entire flange part of a heat treatment object when performing a local heat treatment operation. As a jig device for local heat treatment of a heat treatment object(1) which is bent to have angled corner parts, and which has a flange part(2) formed on a periphery thereof, a press type jig device for local heat treatment comprises: a jig including upper and lower molds(20,30) that are capable of pressurizing the entire flange part of the heat treatment object from upper and lower sides; a high frequency induction coil(22) which is installed on the upper or lower mold within the jig such that the high frequency induction coil comes close to the corner parts to optionally heat the corner parts of the heat treatment object; a ceramic(23) interposed between the high frequency induction coil and the jig; a cooling nozzle(32) which is installed in the jig to cool the corner parts that have been heated by the high frequency induction coil, and which is disposed at a position opposite to a position at which the high frequency induction coil is installed based on the heat treatment object; and discharge grooves(33,33a) formed in the jig such that cooling water sprayed from the cooling nozzle is discharged to the outside of the jig through the discharge grooves.
