An apparatus for testing performance of a jet engine is provided to measure the thrust of the jet engine by changing the thrust into transfer force pressed to a load cell. An apparatus for testing performance of a jet engine includes a sub frame(12), a pair of guide rails, a sliding member(30), and a thrust measuring sensor(25). The guide rails are mounted on the sub frame. The sliding member is mounted to the guide rails and sliding along the guide rail. The sliding member includes a pressing unit. The jet engine of which performance is tested is installed on the sliding member. The thrust measuring sensor is supported by a support member(24) mounted on the sub frame. The thrust measuring sensor contacts to the sliding member guided according to the guide rail. The thrust measuring sensor is pressed by the pressing unit in the performance test of the jet engine so as to measure the thrust of the jet engine.
