ANTENNA WITH ADJUSTABLE RESONANT FREQUENCY USING METAMATERIAL AND DEVICE COMPRISING THE SAME

An antenna with an adjustable resonant frequency using metamaterial and a device having the same are provided to adjust a resonant frequency without affecting a radiation characteristic, and to have the uniform radiation characteristic for the various resonant frequencies. An antenna includes a first radiation line(T1), a second radiation line(T4), and at least one resonant circuit unit(RC). The first radiation line has one end connected to a feed circuit. The second radiation line has one end grounded. The resonant circuit unit has one end connected to the first radiation line and the other end connected to the second radiation line, and includes a first inductor(L1) connected to the first radiation line, a first transmission line(T2) connected to the first inductor in series, a first capacitor(C0) connected to the first transmission line in series, a second transmission line(T3) connected to the first capacitor in series, and a second inductor(L2) connected in series between the second transmission line and the second radiation line.
