SPACE-TIME CODED COOPERATIVE DIVERSITY RELAYING COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A space-time coded cooperative diversity relaying communication system is provided to improve communication characteristics like BER(Bit Error Rate) and FER(Frame Error Rate) of digital data transmission, by performing space-time transmission through a terminal receiving a signal with good state. A space-time coded cooperative diversity relaying communication system comprises a source terminal, a destination terminal and a number of relay terminal groups. The relay terminal group includes N additional terminals to select a terminal with low BER(Bit Error Rate) and low FER(Frame Error Rate) of a signal as a signal transmission terminal among M terminals, except M terminals required in time-space coding method.
