METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ADJUSTING ACCOUNT-BALANCE OF MALL MANAGER IN MALL INTERMEDIARY SERVICE

A method and a system for adjusting account-balance of a mall manager in a mall intermediary service are provided to properly keep an AD cost and reasonably fix a CPC(Cost Per Click) by adjusting the CPC for a search result, as a predetermined discount rate is applied to calculation of the AD cost even if unpredictable many clicks are generated. A search result maker(240) provides the search result related to the mall manager to a user if a mall search request is received from the user. A click counter(250) increases and records the number of clicks to a number accumulation field(255) assigned to the mall manager by receiving selection for the search result from the user. An AD cost calculator(260) calculates the AD cost charged to the mall manager by using the number of clicks recorded to the number accumulation field after the first term. The AD cost calculator applies the discount rate to the AD cost for the first term if the information, related to the number of clicks, recorded to the number accumulation field for the first term and the second term before the first term satisfies a predetermined condition.
