GAS DETECTOR USING EXPLOSION PROTECTION TYPE VACUUM PUMP

A gas detector using an explosion protection type vacuum pump is provided to prevent the vacuum pump from being overloaded, thereby reducing power consumption. A gas detector using an explosion protection type vacuum pump inhales leaked gas through a gas inlet(11) formed on the upper portion and the moisture of the inhaled gas is removed by a dual filter(12). The inhaled gas of which moisture is removed is sensed by a gas sensor(21) included in a gas sensor block unit(20). A vacuum pump(40) is installed to inhale the leaked gas by the operation of a motor(41) at the lower portion of the gas sensor block unit. A vacuum forming block unit is installed between the vacuum pump and the gas sensor block unit to connect them. An insert groove for connection with the vacuum forming block unit is formed on the upper portion of the vacuum pump.
