摘要

A cholesteric liquid crystal polymer, an NIR screening film using the polymer, an NIR screening filter containing the polymer, and a display device using the filter are provided to increase the transmissivity of visible rays with screening NIR effectively and to improve durability. A cholesteric liquid crystal polymer comprises a polymer obtained by polymerizing 100 parts by weight of a nematic liquid crystal compound and 0.001-1 parts by weight of a chiral compound having at least one chiral center, and has a selective reflection center wavelength of 800-1,200 nm. Preferably the nematic liquid crystal is a bifunctional acrylic compound represented by the formula 1; and the chiral compound is a bifunctional acrylic compound represented by the formula 2, wherein m is 1-8; Ar is an arylene group substituted or unsubstituted with a halogen atom, a hydroxyl group, a cyano group or a C1-C5 alkyl group; and n is 1-8.
